New Toy

No, it isn’t a new bike, unfortunately. John rides his bike to work (7 miles) several times a week now, and enjoys it – junky/almost-broken bike notwithstanding. (The nice one he inherited from his folks got stolen. Sad.) As it’s staying dark longer in the morning now, he looked up a really spiffy gizmo for said bike.
White lights in the front, red in the back – and it runs off power generated by magnets stuck on the spokes. COOL! Love it. And now when it’s dark, my sweetie will be much more visible to the crazy Utah drivers. Love it even more.

You’re so right… the Utah drivers really are crazy! I do not miss them! I was on CONSTANT alert the whole time I lived and drove there, that’s for sure.
Washington drivers are slow. . . but for the most part not crazy. πŸ™‚

Has the slowness rubbed off on you yet? By the time we moved here, I’d gotten used to it. Now it seems weird when people fly down the freeway at 80mph. πŸ™‚

LOL. I am one of those Crazy Utah Drivers for sure. πŸ™‚
lol. Although I thought when we moved down here that it would get worse, but city driving has actually calmed my road rage, and I drive very well considering. πŸ™‚ That is very cool about the lights. We saw him on the bike just two nights ago. πŸ™‚ Neato.
